Do NOT take your small children here, especially if your child has any fear of the doctor. I suspected my 2.5 year old had an ear infection and couldn’t get in to our primary ped so I took her to Gateway. For context she was hospitalized twice a month ago with RSV and pneumonia and since then has developed a fear of the doctor/taking medicine. 3 stars because the nurse and doctor were great but the receptionist, Lissa, was horribly rude. I took my son in about 40 minutes before closing and I apologized for cutting it so close and that if they didn’t have time I could go elsewhere, the place was empty and she just sighed and didn’t respond for a bit. She asked what was wrong and I told her he had been nauseous for a few days and lethargic and when he asked to go to a doctor, I knew he was serious.
