RecommendedAwesome experience purchasing saltwater livestock today. Great selection and very friendly staff. Definitely have found a go to spot now for all our saltwater needs. They had everything we came for and all at such a great price. Cannot wait to go back again!

After many issues with getting into the hobby of freshwater fish and getting our tanks cycled, I made a call and explained our issues, mainly with ammonia. Shane had us come in with water samples and recommended us to start getting their water and also recommended Fritz-Zyme Turbo Start, Start Smart and Prime to help with the cycling. Our 40 gal ended up cycled in 1 week and our 10 gal was cycled by week 2. Both have fish in them now! Bought a Red Sea Reefer 425XL from Gateway. Chad was great to work with on buying the tank as well as other things needed for the tank. I paid to have the tank delivered and installed in my house with rock, sand, and water added. Harrison and Matt installed everything and did an awesome job with aquascaping the tank (100x better than I would have done). Tank looks great and my wife and I are super happy with the guys at Gateway. If you’re looking for aquarium supplies, both freshwater and saltwater, give them a shot.

absolutely amazing staff. We showed up 13 minutes after they had closed, all we need was saltwater. The staff member that was there still let us in and get the water. Thank you.

Awesome store with a very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Shane, their freshwater expert is always a huge help to my son and I whenever we visit. Anyone in the aquarium hobby or thinking of getting into the hobby should make Gateway Aquatics their first stop.
Every time i come in the store the freshwater guy Shane literally helps me with every last thing I possibly want and is hands down the most knowledgeable staff member out of all the stores around here!! I can even call when i have questions about previously purchased fish from this location and he takes the time to walk me through stuff! They always have the best selection! Everytime i go i wanna leave with another fish !

Shane was very knowledgeable, patient, and informative. He helped me navigate tank set up and water treatment in preparation for our kids first starter aquarium. He also provided feedback on beginner fish with easy care needs. The store is filled with fish for all skill levels and a variety of corals and live plants. I imagine anything one would need for fresh and salt water habitats can be found here. 10/10
