Very pleased with Dr. Ainsworth and his staff. All knowledgeable, caring, patient, professional people.
Dr. Ainsworth used to be the best gastroenterologist. He is too overwhelmed now by the Obama laptops and doesnt look at you. Constantly looking at his laptop. He has never even touched me in an exam. Having Chrohn’s, and in my early 60’ since we are limited in a rural area, it is extremly impossible for seniors to travel an hour in extreme pain for issues like this. I suggest going elsewhere. With no warning they dropped medicaid so if you are a senior and have that supplement, yiu cannot go there unless you pay.
Nice staff, knowledgeable doctor who explains things well. Usually timely or a smidge past my schedule time but nothing to fuss about
Run don’t walk! If I could give a zero, I would. Absolutely the worst medical visit of my life. I had to force introduce myself to get acknowledgment from the time I walked in the room. He was cold, disinterested and looked at his laptop the entire time; he did not speak to me directly. He made me feel bad for even being there (seemed more interested in the insurance and qualified visits). Had him to perform an endoscopy before I had my gallbladder out. I received a bill after insurance deductible, I can't afford it because I was in and out of the hospital last few months and wasn't able to work. So I decided to cancel my follow up because he won't see his patients unless they paid in full. What kind of a doctor is he? It's a small town, monopolies around here is bad! Don't get into his trap, you'll be spending a whole lot more money than you should! Go to Gainesville, they're better!
