Dr. Mendoza and all of the staff that we have encountered have been very compassionate and informative. They have gone above and beyond to be available to us.
CHKD isn't on the level they used to be. Dr. Yokois was disinterested, unfocused, unengaged, not open to listening, and clearly overwhelmed. Her immediate response was medication to suppress symptoms and not work to find the cause, for an 8 year old. CHKD is going downhill, they used to be the leader in children's health but our recent interactions with their doctors shows they care about money and incentives, not 'their' patients.
