First time there - no sign in building, no sign anywhere. Asked the girl upfront if she knew where the practice was and she said “you, right here” - it was very strange - Got there at 10:12 for a 10:30 appt. There I sat and sat and sat…me and one other guy. The waiting area was hot as hell. At 11:12 I told the receptionist I was leaving - her words “ok hun” - no apologies offered, no nothing, like this was a normal process. I would rather give ZERO stars. All the reviews about how terrible and slow this place is are spot on. If you go to the office in the villages prepare for a 2-3 hour wait- minimum. And if you go to the surgery center in Tavares, well just read the complaints that are all 100% true. I will never return to this facility. Now I have received a bill in the mail( no idea how it got to me since the address and zip code were wrong) and I am prepared to pay it but they have no means of payment on the website, expecting me to send a ... read more
I would give a minus 5 if I could. I had a combo endoscopy/colonoscopy same day. Many negatives: 1. The facility was dirty. My wise spilled water on floor in preop room and asked for paper towel to wipe up- it was black. 2. After procedure Doctor Lal spent 30seconds with me, said “you a try e filled with polyps and have a liver problem, them walked away without an opportunity to ask questions. 3. Had been in the hospital and was assigned this practice for follow up. Not impressed at all. During my first visit it was 1/2 after my scheduled that I got in to a room, the NP or whatever she was didn't introduce herself and spent at least half the time time talking to her underling in the room. I could have been out in 10-15 minutes. The second time there the receptionist had her family on video call, I think. She was singing and making "baby" noises. Im not sure why this faculty was recommended by UF Hospital Spanish Plains. My father waited 2.5 hrs before going in. Several seniors were waiting for hours and it’s ridiculous. Expecting them to sit in a waiting room in uncomfortable chairs for hours is absolutely unacceptable. He will not be returning.
