Thanks to Dr. Gasser I had been wearing a partial denture, and I hated it. I was so embarrassed to smile and food would get stuck underneath. My hand automatically covered my mouth when I would laugh as I was too self-conscious to smile and talk in public. It impacted my self-esteem drastically.
