Money well spent. Not sure where those few negative reviews came from. My experiences with Gary's have been very pleasant. Every time I go in, I see happy customers. You walk in and it feels like Cheers--although, from what Dan tells me, lots of their clientele are young. I'm in my 20s. My girlfriend found Gary's via tons of positive reviews on Google Maps, Car Talk, and InsiderPages. She got lots of much-needed car work done for $600. Best in Town!!! I have had my cars repaired here for the last 6 years and couldn't be happier! The owner, Dan, and the mechanics are very professional and knowledgable and friendly. They have been very supportive of my emergency situations as I'm alone. They will also shuttle you to and from, if necessary. I have NO need to look elsewhere ever again, they are truly honest, dependable, competent and TOP NOTCH!!!

I just need a wire repaired but he was very thorough when inspecting my car to see what the problem was. He also seemed to know what he was talking about with out talking down to me or trying to confuse me. T.D My father and mother drove into town from California and my dad's engine light came on. dan was extremely helpful and checked everything. It was just a sensor and they replaced it for minimal charge. Dan was so respectful and helpful to my father- my dad still asks how he s doing.
Honest Auto Mechanic - No Joke! Gary's Auto Service has been a godsend. Gary is actually that rare breed - an honest auto mechanic. He never overcharges, and gives estimates that are as close to the mark as possible. He takes all makes and models of cars. The only drawback is that the shop closes at 5 p.m.
Highly recommended! I'm new to town and I had some minor car issues that I tried to fix and failed, so I needed a mechanic.I found this shop with Google review and since it was in my neighborhood and had great comments I decided to try Gary's. The owner is very friendly and seemed trustworthy. He had his mechanics fix my problem within about 30 minutes and only charged me $10. Peace of Mind Who shows up for the first time from out of town at a busy auto repair shop less than 2 hours from closing and realistically expects the attention normally reserved for long time customers? I certainly don't, and yet that perfectly describes the friendly warmth and professional care I received at Gary's. Great service! This shop has been the best kept secret in Denver for a lot of years. They are honest, straight forward, and give great value for the money. Good communication. I trust them implicitly.
Very poor customer service I had a horrible experience with the current owner of this place. He has a very short temper and is very disrespectful. I had been referred to him and when I got my car back it was not working properly. When I called to talk to the owner he was extremely defensive, rude, and unprofessional.
