Had a course of action within minutes. He was 100% right.
My best friend had elevated liver results. It posted on her my chart as 'Grade 2 Stage 4 Cirrhosis'. My friend read that, sent it to me & we all of course immediately looked it up online. This was on a Friday afternoon. ELEVEN DAYS LATER, the doctor's NURSE, not the doctor, called her & told her that yes, she did have cirrhosis; & they'd called in a prescription for her to take; & to come back in 6 weeks. Chronic BPH and Kidney Stones. Moved from California and established care. I have come to respect and trust Dr. Perez which in my mind is essential for a postive patient provider relationship. Dr. Perez is a great listener and is very attentive to my needs and thoughts. He discusses rather than lectures. He is very kind and intuitive. I was labeled a difficult patient because I told Dr. Parker’s PA Evan, I would NOT take anti-inflammatory everyday! I’d take a week here and there, but not daily.(my bff is in kidney failure because of those meds) Evan proceeded to tell me that he wouldn’t be giving me pain meds. I replied, “I didn’t ask you for any!” Then he repeated himself, “ I’m telling you again, I’m not giving you pain meds” I replied” AGAIN, I DIDNT ASK YOU FOR ANY, I don’t want them” I left angry!
