For 30 years, I worked on Indian reservations, where the incidence of diabetes is the highest in the world. It was on these reservations that I developed a special interest in diabetic eye problems. I also had exposure to all kinds of unusual ocular pathology and unique culture within our country. Even after practicing for such a long time, I still get great satification out of helping a patient see better or treating eye disease to the point of resolution.

Dr. Pabalis and his staff are fantastic. Ive been seeing them for several years, now. They are all very easy-going and do great work. The section of the office that sells contact lenses and glasses is terrible, though. In 2009, they completely screwed up my contact lens order FOUR TIMES over a 6 week period. It became comical that they were so incompetent at something that they are supposed to be experts at. Their prices are also ridiculously high, like 50-100% more than Lenscrafters and over 200% more than online stores. I ... read more
After several bad "eye doctor" encounters, I was pleasently surprised with the care I received from Dr. Pabalis and his staff at Vision Quest. If you are searching for a optometrist, search no further. I am extremely satisfied with my visit.
