Experience over the years and the medical literature have proven the most important factors that lead to good health. Simply stated it's your personal habits and your family history. Personal habits include things like: diet, smoking, exercise activities, stress management, social life, and so on. Your family history holds many genetic clues and propensities that can affect your health outcome. Your psychological makeup is very important.

When our insurance changed, so did our list of providers in-network. We were very concerned about finding a doctor we could trust completely. We prayed, and through a number of pieces of information, were able to find Dr. Postelwait. We are so very grateful! Dr. Postelwait and his nurse, Ninfa, are 5-Star in every respect. We could not have found anyone who could have gendered a higher level of confidence than we have in Dr. Postelwait and Ninfa. They are 100% thorough, knowledgeable, skilled in every respect, and they take ... read more
We both are fairly new patients of Dr. Postelwait and are so pleased to have found a Dr. like him! He is a caring, knowledgeable and common sense Doctor.
Dr Postelwaite is concerned about the patient (me). Additionally, he uses his vast experience to advise, well. All doctors- are NOT created equal. He's outstanding.. Btw, his recommendations work!
Dr. Postelwait's staff is extremely unprofessional. When calling for a refill, it takes up to a week if more to get his staff to call in for a refill. That after calling and asking them to follow up numerous times. They always say they will call back but they never do. After experiencing this kind of treatment from his office for the past two years, I finally made an appointment with a new Dr. Who needs that kind of frustration.
I'm am a new patient and he has cancelled on me three times. DO NOT GO TO HIM!
Dr. Postelwaite had been my pcp for many years. My wife's for a short time. The wait is long, he seems to lose focus and has frankly not been responsive to patients needs. Office staff has improved some over the years, not much. 48 hours for a refill order is poor patient management and poor time management. Not acceptable at all. Likes to peck away at the computer instead of attending to patient. Changed Dr.
Gary Postelwait, D.O. has a 3.6 star rating with 10 reviews.
