I had a bad experience with the person that answered. She was trying to give medical advice and very defensive. I felt like I was being interrogated. I could not get a word in. I thought about it and called the office manager. She was very defensive telling me that was not receptionist I'm right here next to her. Ok let's argue now. So was it a medical assistant? Dr. Miya is great but the lady in charge of benefits is disappointing. I had surgery at Dr. Miya's outpatient clinic and they asked me to pay my $700 copay the morning of my surgery so I did. Right after surgery, Dr. Miya's office charged me $700 and said I should have paid them- not the surgery center. They called the surgery center for me (never got a call back) and once I had my post op appt with Dr. Miya, I asked what the status was and they said the surgery center will send me a refund check then I will pay Dr. Miya's o... read more
