Dr. Jett helped me through a very scary time in my life in early 2017 when x-rays done at a an urgent care visit for what I thought was pneumonia revealed a large mass in my chest that was attached to my heart. He performed an outpatient lymph node biopsy 8/26/2021 at Baylor Scott and White Heart Hospital in Plano Tx and lacerated her right pulmonary artery during the procedure. During my father's surgery for a Maze procedure to correct his A-fib, Dr Jett accidentally punctured the heart all the way through and he did not notice his mistake. My father bled profusely internally from his heart after surgery and had to be rushed back to the OR thanks to the observations of the ICU nurse. Dr. Jett was able to perform a robotic completion pericardiectomy, when other surgeons were afraid to take the case due to having previous open heart surgery/anterior pericardiectomy. Dr. Jett was confident and took his time explaining what he planned to do. He followed up with me in the hospital both days and patiently answered my questions. Dr. Jett did my husband's second bypass surgery in 2009. He was wonderful! He explained everything with such patience. If we every need another bypass I pray he will do it!
Bypass in 2012. Perfect in all manners. Can not think of anything derogatory to say. The best, period.
