From my experience, Dr. Breslow is a brilliant surgeon, conscientious doctor, and above all, conservative in his decisions. During a routine surgery prep, my blood pressure went up to 165. Next thing I knew, I was in an ambulance headed to Hackensack. When I asked Dr. Breslow why he was so concerned, he told me ignoring high blood pressure is one way people die during surgery.
