Went in today with around two feet of hair, an idea/picture of a shorter look, and more anxiety then I would like. I left with a haircut better than I would have imagined. if you are hesitating to make an appointment or getting a dramatic haircut like I was for that matter, don't. He knows what he's doing, talks you through his process, and gives you a more than fair price. if I could rate higher than five stars I would :)

Visited Garver's Barbers & More during an out of town visit. Owner Nick Garver was very accommodating to work me in his schedule as I called earlier in the day to check for availability. Classic feel to the shop and an outstanding haircut. Nick's attention to detail leaves you with a fresh cut ready. If you live in the area or are visiting in town be sure to give Garver's Barbers and More and try.

Thought I'd get a haircut and professional straight razor shave for an anniversary dinner since my wife likes my clean shaven face. The haircut was okay besides a lot of space cut above my ears like old 1940s white wall tires. As for the shave, the razor seemed dull as it pulled my hair rather than clean cuts through. And I was left with a bunch of scrapes and cuts afterwards. I use a safety razor myself so I know a good razor cut.
