We met with Dr. Garrido-Laguna for a second opinion regarding my dad’s terminal cancer diagnosis, and we are incredibly grateful for the experience. He was professional, kind, and deeply compassionate. He took the time to thoroughly review my dad’s scans and walk us through potential treatment options and possible outcomes. We never felt rushed—he created space for our questions and truly supported my dad’s choices. In such a difficult time, his empathy and clarity made a meaningful difference to our family.
Dr. Garrido’s poor communication skills, impatience and alarming lack of empathy made my fathers journey with terminal pancreatic cancer needlessly more stressful, confusing and painful for my Mom and Dad than it would have otherwise been. My parents live in Logan. There were several times we had to take Dad to the hospital at Logan Regional Hospital. He's so rude. We took my father for a second opinion and he was so rude. His assistant was the sweetest, but he's plain rude and lacks empathy.
He is the best and his team as well all of them care about their patients and they know how to make you feel better I’m so thankful and blessed that they are my angels
