Dr. Garrett is very professional and approachable. Recommended!
Dr. Garrett was on call. I had a question regarding scheduled cataract surgery. Needed information regarding drops to be started 3 days prior to surgery. He refused to talk to me directly. The answering service relayed information that did not answer my question. He could have alleviated my anxiety with a few words of reassurance. Disappointed in his lack of concern for patient's peace of mind. This occurred on a Friday evening. Could not get reassurance until Monday during office hours.
Disappointed that Dr. Garrett's staff did not review the medication list that I filled out (also the doctor didn't look at the form I filled out). They did not do sufficient eye exams to allow me a refill of Plaquenil by my rheumatologist, meaning I wasted time with my visit. When I discussed this with nurse on the phone, she never apologized but did offer me another appointment. Will not reschedule with an office that wasted 2 hours of my day.
