Dr. Dockendorf did my gallbladder surgery on Feb 13, 2025. Prior to the surgery I had watched the surgery on YouTube as well as several patients videos. Most patients were on hard drugs for pain ie liquid morphine. So I was nervous but prepared. I DID NOT HAVE ONE ONCE OF PAIN! It was easier than having a dental cleaning.I was tired after the surgery from the anesthetic. Otherwise I could gone straight to the store shopping. I saw Dr. Popwell for the entire pregnancy and delivery of my 5th child. I’ve had some really negative experiences in the past with other doctors, especially with my gestational diabetes, and Dr. Popwell was so kind and attentive. I’ve never had follow up care as thorough for postpartum. He actually checked to make sure everything was okay, instead of the typical 6 week appt that could have been an email I’ve been through with previous births. I will continue to see him as my regular gynecologist while we live in the area.
Staff friendly and quick to get an appointment. No longer than 15 mins wait to see doctor. Dr Anglin took his time, answered all my questions, and not quick to recommend surgery. I would recommend Dr.Anglin if you want a doctor who is kind, patient, and very experienced. He is a good example of "good raising" from a small rural town in Claiborne Parish, Haynesville, Louisiana!

OUR DR CALLED DOWN TO DR KNIGHTS OFFICE AND ASKED FOR AN APPT. THEY WERE WILLING TO SEE US RIGHT AWAY SINCE WE WERE FROM 1 1/2 HOURS AWAY. STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. VERY PATIENT AND EXPLANATORY WITH WHAT THEY WERE ABOUT TO DO WHEN WE WERE IN THE ROOM. DR KNIGHT WAS VERY INFORMATIVE ABOUT WHAT HE WAS ABOUT TO DO AND REASSURING.
Dr. Dockendorf did an outstanding job for me on all three! I would highly recommend him. I had the esophageal stricture and colonoscopy done first and then 2 weeks later had the hernia done. I had already heard he was excellent on hernia repair! He listens to patients concerns and everything went smoothly.
Dismissive and he has a lack of basic communication skills. After being recommended to him by my PCP (who thought I had a torn meniscus), I got an MRI done. No sign of meniscus tear, but he guessed it was plica syndrome. I ask about physical therapy and he dismissed it completely, explaining that physical therapy won’t work. He tells it like it is after reviewing all pertinent data including radiology reports. He has a good bedside manner.
Dr. Whited is one of the best doctors in this area. He never rushes your visit, and he goes over every detail in your file. He has been a blessing to me by finding a treatment that works. I would definitely recommend Dr. Whited to anyone with respiratory issues.
