Alex built a desk with lighting, a glass writing surface, a file drawer, bookshelves, and lots of storage for our daughters room. He turned an empty nook into a very functional space. His vision for the space and execution were flawless.. He is a true craftsman. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire process of working with him.
Mr. Garofalo is, without a doubt, THE best in the field. We hired him several years ago to build a bookcase cabinet combination left and right of our fireplace. This also required integrating the existing crown molding into these new pieces. His skill and workmanship are simply superb and his prices are very fair! Alex has completed four projects at Aljoya, a Mercer Island Retirement Community. Three have been paid for by the community and one was paid by the resident. Alex repaired card tables and returned them better than when new (refinished the tops with a stronger coating that actually looked and cleaned better), and built in new cabinets to match existing cabinets in the bath and kitchen of the apartment homes.
