Dr Pleasants always finds time for me and when I was stranded out of State he called every day to check on us , he is patient and never rushed through !!!!!!!
This place is the worst place I have ever been , It is impossible for these people to get their billing correct . If you go there be prepared to deal with collection agencies on a regular basis . One star is the lowest response offered . - 5 stars
This place sucks, I have never been so humilated with one of the NPs there TIna Scott. All she did was blame me for being fat. I called and cancelled my next appointment only to get a bill for 15 months later. Now in collections. They can stick their practice up their pie hole. And that is being friendly. Even the Medical assistants were total bitches. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst Enemy. I hope they read this.
I have been a diabetic since I was 6. I was having chest pains and shortness of breath 6 months after my 29th birthday. I went to Rex hospital via ambulance. I sat in the waiting room for at least 3 hours. It did not seem important to them so it was not important to me and I left. The next day, same thing so I called and got an appointment with Dr. Pleasants. I love my GP there. I also go to the VA for care but love the idea of a local doctor also. Dr. Pleasants is great and when I ended up in hospital having to have a blood transfusion, he called me daily.. Cudos.... I would like to know if there is a way to get a list of my pre existing conditions to give to my VA docs..
How this practice handled this past weeks poor weather was inadequate and certainly not patient friendly. The only method of communication required the patient to call in and listen to a voicemail. No postings on their website and no calls to patients. A sign was posted on their door just listed the clinic as closed due to weather. Wednesday I drove 45 minutes on clear roads to my appt. and found an empty building with the closed sign.
