Searched internet for a equine vet available to do a vetting of a horse in San Diego area. Found her website! Website was well designed and easy to locate information I needed to make informed decision. I had my first visit with Dr. Christi Garfinkel this week. My previous vet of 16 years moved to Northern California and he referred me to Dr. Garfinkel. I can confidently say that Dr. Garfinkel has "more than filled those shoes"! Although I am hoping her visits here are for only routine care, I look forward to her treating my horses for many years to come.
Excellent, unrushed service and the cost was fair. The diagnosis appears to be 100% accurate and meds are working just as Dr. Garfinkel said they would. I couldn't be happier and would recommend her. Thank you!
During the fires many years ago we were graciously allowed to take refuge at the Del Mar racetrack facility. We had thirteen horses and picked up a few trying to escape the fires. We met Christi there and have been with her since. She is the best! !.
