I had an extremely disappointing experience at Garfield Health Center's optometry department. The front desk staff was irresponsible, deflecting blame for their mistakes, which caused significant inconvenience. They showed no remorse and even interrogated patients and families rudely. When we escalated the issue, the reception manager offered no resolution, simply defending the staff without addressing our concerns. Dr. Wang and Roberta have been incredible. First time someone listened to some of the issues I’ve had. This is my first time here after having Kaiser for tests and this is the first time I haven’t left a doctors office angry. I’m excited to have finally found an office that cares. Also, Roberta was so sweet and helped me understand my next steps for getting labs done and she immediately scheduled my next appointment to discuss my results in person with a doctor.
