We are a brewpub. All of our beers are made right here and we also have a couple of popular 'macro' beers. Our kitchen is well known for its fresh food and use of fresh ingredients. We don't work very much with frozen and prepared foods. Our burgers and pizzas are the talk of the town and our dinner entrees are elegant and affordable. Smokehouse BBQ Pizza never fails
Excellent food, great selection of drinks, beers. Superb service!
Good Food, Drink and Entertainment Went for lunch and had a great time with my wife. The food was terrific! Good portions, moderate price and tasted great. I had a vegetarian meal and she had a sandwich, that with the appetizers and we didn't finish everything. Desert was also good, I snuck a bite of hers. The ales will bring me back, I had the Facelift IPA which was full-bodied without being too heavy. Good hop flavour as well while being smooth. Took a grogger home for the soccer match.
Great food and Great Beer We take the children here for dinner often because the atmosphere is relaxed and the food is great. The service is always friendly, though during the busy parts of the evening it can be a little slow.
Gardner Ale House is great Love the food and atmosphere. This has become a great place to hang out and grab a beer with some friends. A great place to go out and still be local.
poor waitstaff I went with a bunch of girlfriends and we all had apps and drinks and were talking and our waitress said that she wanted to go, so could we pay the bill..it was rude and it was like 10pm...we are planning on going again because it is really the only place where you can get drinks and apps and have a convo with a bunch of girls, hopefully we will have a nicer waitress this time around!
great addition to downtown Gardner Great microbrew beer! The brewer Dave has a passion to brew quality, smooth and unique brews. Don't believe the reviews from CSMobileUser....he sounds like a petty, disgruntled customer with poor taste. Regarding the food, I have to agree that the choices are somewhat inconsistent. The pizza and bar food are excellent. The specials are inconsistent...some good, some bland. How I wish it were better. (Good beer though.) I really want this place to be world class. The atmosphere is relaxed, but the food is missing the mark and the menu can be odd. Some sandwiches come on nice rolls with fires, others come on plain bread with chips. The soup is as inconsistent as the waitstaff. Somedays its good, somedays they put too much beer in the cheddar and beer soup. Nice place to go!! I love the Gardner Ale House, I particularly like the atmosphere and ambiance. It is a place where you can go have a conversation over a few drinks and appetizers. Gardner needed a place like this and everyone certainly agree's because the place is always packed with people. It's like the CHEERS show, everyone seems to know your name. It's not a 5 star gourmet food, but it beats the chain's lik eth 99 etc anyday.
