Do not use Dr. Gardner, after 3 operations , scope, partial and full knee replacement , ended up with a foot drop because nerve was damaged or stretched. The doctor told me told me the nerve would come back in time but it never did . He should have sent me to a nerve doctor immediately.
Dr. Gardner is an absolutely outstanding physician. He is patient, compassionate, and thorough, and always takes time to answer my questions. He is a skilled surgeon, and brought me through a successful hip replacement surgery, as well as numerous other procedures. I wish the rating system would allow me to give him 1,000 stars !
I do not recommend Dr. Brion Gardner. Back in 2012 I was scheduled for a partial knee replacement which turned out to be a Total Knee Replacement. I tried to tell Dr. Gardner and Physical Therapy there was something wrong. Only to be told it's a healing process and everything looks good on an x-ray. After 11 months of agony, I went for a 2nd opinion. I had to have a revision and they found jagged cement on the bottom plate that was ripping into my tissue.
