I moved into a two bedroom at Garden Glen because I had just moved to Portland and needed low cost rent in a safe location until I found a job. The place needs a serious face lift. The kitchen cabinets are so dirty, worn and shabby that I have been unable to use them for anything other than canned goods because they "shed" dust from the press "card" board that they are made of. this apartment complex should be stayed away from – I lived here a year and half because it is cheap, but there are many problems. There are lakes in the parking lot. People fist fight to solve problems. There are alot of children. I hAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A DISHWASHER FOR TWO MONTHS. leaves stay on the ground all year and there is alot of dogs with some people not picking it up. I wish I could put no stars,

I had many problems with manager Laura. Bad customer service, carpet that looks old as if it had been dyed, management goes back and forth on rules and policy.
