This apartment complex is great if you want little communication with property management and prefer to keep to yourself. The upgrades at this apartment complex were great and the inside of them is very cute. During my time living at this property, I experienced a deeply concerning incident: someone drilled a hole into my gas tank overnight, leaving an empty water jug underneath my car. My vehicle, less than two years old, was reasonably damaged, leaving me with out of pocket expenses, weeks without my car, and significant safety concerns. Garden Cottage Apartments owns and operates Park Somerset, which is a cluster of townhomes off of SE Ramona. This is a review of their staff, management, and tenant screening process. DO NOT MOVE HERE. We had mold in our apartment for months which they refused to fix so. They made us and several other tenants leave because the units were “inhabitable”. They gutted and remodeled the units then took our deposit and charged us for the things that we asked them to fix previously!! There is no parking and no amenities. I've been living here for 2 1/2 years now. It's a quiet complex, has washer and dryer in the units and clean environment. The management really cares about the property, so maintenance gets completed quickly. I enjoy living here.
