mexican food My friend lives across the street from Garcia's and I always order their chimichanga. It is always piled with sour cream, guacamole, lettus, cheese and tomatoes on the side. The staff are friendly and the lunch prices are fair.
DON'T BOTHER, Macayo's is WAY better!!!!!!!! – Don't bother with this place. The service good, but the food has no flavor, no spices, and definitely not authentic Mexican. It's just another American/Mexican wanna be for the snowbirds. The entire Valley misses the spot. The food tastes like it something you cooked at home. And we ALL know how that tastes. If you want REAL great tasting Mexican food. Go to any restaurant in Tucson on 4th or 6th Avenue south of 22nd street.
Average Mexican Restaurant I ate here a few times in the past 20 years and the food never really set well with me- maybe because everything had the same strong pepper flavor. A friend recently wanted to meet there and I reluctantly agreed. The food was better than I remembered, so I am assuming they have made positive changes in their seasoning.
