My tennis friend told me that "never let Dr Gao to touch your teeth". I still went to him as he said he does not charge me co-pay (which is NOT legal). He broke my wisdom tooth's root and I had to go to the oral surgeon for help. He never informed me that he is just a foreign trained dentist. He did not go back to dental school in the USA. Never go to him again!
Dr. Gao is good and professional. He did good job on my crown and invisalign.
Dr Gao is a very patient and kind christian dentist. He is very concerned about quality care for his patients. He does great work!
He is a nice guy. However his receptionist Tonya is horrible. If you would like to have a happy day, do not go there!!!!!
I know Dr. Gao for over 3 years, He is very kind but one of his staff sucks, I think her name is Sonya, everytime I ask her a queston, she replys back with a bad attitude, She is the living virus in Dr. Gao's office and Sonya seems like she is mad at the world, I dont think I can take the way she treat me anymore, sorry Dr. Gao but am taking my business somewhere else.
Dr. Gao is a nice person until he fails you. He is capable to do small services such as cleaning, small cavity filling. Every dentist has his or her limit, so does Dr. Gao. He has not been trained to work on a deep cavity, or even root canal type of work. When he failed you, please do not expect he could fix it for you. The dental cleaning is the worst I have seen. It only takes them 10 min to do a routine cleaning, whick is more like brushing your teeth.
This is the best dentist that I've known in Houston. The doctor is very experienced and considerate to patients, not always thinking about making money.
A friend of mine recommended Dr. Gao for me two month ago. I went there for the first treatment two weeks ago and had the intial checkup. The waiting section is a little bit small and overcrowded, which is a good sign :-). The assistant is quite helpful. Dr. Gao showed up at the very end of my first treatment and checked my X-rays. He is kind of professional and will post more after further treatment.
