Be careful with what you have planned with this or any urologist. Please study all reviews and don’t make a decision based on frustrations. My nightmare started with a TURP procedure in June of 24. That’s when the leaking started and after various visits and wearing a catheter for weeks and 3 medicine changes the catheter was removed and a men’s diaper with a liner was being used. After surgery, Dr. Ganem talked to my wife and we never heard from him or his staff until a couple of weeks later after we had changed doctors. He told my wife that the stent which he had placed in my ureter was in such a mess that he could not go further into the kidney to get the kidney stone. It has taken two more surgeries to get the mess cured.
Recently my sister had a large kidney stone removed surgically and was discharged with a kidney catheter the following day. She was in great discomfort at home and no one from the office, including Dr.Ganem and his staff made a follow up phone call to assess her progress and condition, Post-OP.She developed a severe skin reaction to the surgical tape and after making numerous calls for several days to Dr. Ganem’s office no one answered the phone. Dr Ganem was excellent for me. I was going in not sure of how the procedure would be performed but not only did he educate me on the different techniques of how vasectomies are performed, but he also informed me on how he and his staff would perform my vasectomy. He also put me at ease during the procedure with his lighthearted sense of humor and at the same time being very professional.

After having had a bad experience with another urologist and continuing with my unresolved health problem, I decided to listen to a second opinion, I made an appointment with Dr. Ganem, today was my appointment and the doctor quietly heard how I felt, then I he explained what he was going to do, and took the time to ultrasound the bladder and showed me on the screen how everything looked. This doctor has fulfilled all my expectations and even exceeded them, has been very considerate and careful
