Very nice our waiter Francesco was superb and the food was excellent
I didn't want to write anything until they had an opportunity to respond me contacting them directly. It has been five days without a response, so it doesn't seem likely I'll ever hear back. Potential customers will probably want to know that our meal was accompanied by (sorry about the all caps) DOZENS OF FRUIT FLIES. The server made a joke about them being "protein" and it took an absurdly long time for our fly-attracting plates to be cleared from the table. I love this restaurant- always top notch staff- - always great food!!!!!!
We have gone to the Gandy Dancer for years and love the atmosphere but their waitstaff in the bar has gone downhill. We sat for over an hour with no one coming to our table to refill water, clear our food, ask us if we wanted another drink or food during happy hour. Their excuse was, the waiter left?! Our friend payed our tab but she was leaving and we wanted more. The bartender and waiter were rude about the situation. I have NEVER complained at a restaurant before!
Been here 2 1/2 hours still no food . They seated us at 8. Now it is 10:30
We were married on the balcony while guests looked up from the main dining room. September 21, 1996 was the most beautiful day ever. The venue was perfect, the food, the service. 20 years later and people still say it was one of the prettiest weddings ever attended. And we didn't spend a dime to decorate! Thank you Gandy Dancer for a great wedding so many years ago.

Food was decent but way overpriced for what you get.. Service was horribly slow.
Great atmosphere. Valet apparently closed 2 hours before the restaurant. Was complemented with a 20.00 gift for the confusion. Food was decent. Server was worse than food. Will go back with complementary gift card to try one more time.
