I've lived in the Ann Arbor area my whole life, and had the pleasure of finally eating there last night. The food was as good expected, except for the crab legs that I added to my meal. They were far below the level of rest of the meal which is why I can only give a 4.
Came in for happy hour. Waiter was a bit rude at the beginning of our experience but came around and was ok after that. Not sure if he was just too busy? They were out of the lobster roll on the happy hour menu � but the wort part was that it took about 45 minutes to get our food. I had to ask for bread twice before it came. We were very hungry! We had a great dinner there last Monday April 3rd. We had Sarah whom my husband called the All American Girl as sweet as could be an exceptional service. We had the special of the dsy a Lemon Salmon and the 12 Oz Strip steak both which were cooked to perfection. It was our first visit there but we will be back.
Love love love! So many happy hour food choices and the drink prices are awesome. I will go again. It was excellent

The best place in town to celebrate anything or even to treat yourself. Food, beverages, ambiance and desserts were exceptional! Wait staff extremely courteous, efficient and prompt! Our compliments to the chef! Do try the Creme Brûlée- the best in this area!
The Gandy Dancer is a remarkable restaurant with a luxurious atmosphere of yesteryear. The food we had was exceptional from the delicious clam chowder to the salmon and crab cake sandwich. Even the coleslaw is tasty! The service was top notch! You get what you pay for st Gandy Dancer!
