Went shooting today with my good friend. Initially we were the only two people on the live fire range so the range safety guy, Mark, spent a lot of his time sharing great advice on how we could improve. He could have ignored us but he went out of his way to be helpful and taught us a lot (with not one bit of condescension). Thanks Mark! You made our day!
Nice store with an assortment of things to purchase for the outdoorsman... But prices are through the roof. Looked at several Firearms expecting them to be at least near other retailers and they were on average $100 more for a pistol then elsewhere locally..... Ended up purchasing a Springfield XDS at another retailer saving $98.67 over Gander Mountains price on the very same model.
Great Group of instructors! Safety is stressed first and foremost. Classes are designed for a lot of individual instruction dealing with every level of ability of student. Don't care how good you are, they can make you better!
They have a great variety of gear and equipment for all outdoors/survival/ shooting sports enthusiasts. The drawbacks are that everything is the highest price in the market and... Every time I have done business over at the firearms counters and the shooting range, the people working there seemed to have this attitude: "Why are you here? We don't need your business!" I don't need that in s store, I need sales and service.
