Today we discovered Gandalfs pub and restraunt!!! It was amazing! I highly recommend it! We had the Ruben pirogies, Danny Greene burger and Lake Erie perch Sandwich. It's right across the street from Samosky's we sat on the pretty patio/courtyard, soaking up the perfect summer day. They have Great Irish/American food. Reasonably priced, casual, and a great variety of food and beer/drinks. The service was quick, accurate and our server very friendly. I've already picked out what I want to eat the next few visits.
Very friendly waitresses and staff. We love that we can bring our dog on the patio and best of all the food was great ! Over all excellent experience.
Love Gandalf's. The food is great and they're so dog friendly. We come here often during the summer and sit outside on their wonderful patio. The ultimate BLT is the best one I've ever had. The adults grilled cheese is awesome too.
I keep going back for more! Best wings, burgers and breakfast in the area. Service is always fast and friendly AND they are biker friendly. Great destination for a ride.

The servers and bar tender were very friendly. The black cherry lemonade drink for the night was delicious. The food was great, I really like the fries, the chips were not as good as the fries. I love that they had a great selection of condiments right at the table. I would have loved to sit outside, but it was cooler inside near the bar. I'd definitely go watch a football game here.
I'm a Valley City resident but never tried Gandalfs until recently. I've now had dinner there 3 times in the past 6-weeks and the food and service has been excellent every time. I will be back very soon!
It was such a great time there last night. Loved the band. Perfect weather to be out on the patio. And as always the food was fantastic. We brought friends there with us and they loved the place as well. Our favorite spot.
