STAY AWAY – DO NOT GO HERE even if you are tempted by the 4am close. . . Staff is RUDE and have no problem cursing at paying and TIPPING customers. PS. Watch your money. The only bar I've ever been to that doesn't return change. OH and don't ask how much beer costs bc they make up their own prices to SCAM YOU. Bar staff are inattentive and argumentative. This Bar Blows – This bar completely blows. I think it's laughable how someone from gamekeepers obviously got on here an gave it a bunch of 5 star ratings. What a joke. Take it from someone that doesn't work there- this place smokes major pole.
Excellent sports bar & late night party! – Gamekeepers s a staple in this small exclusive Lincoln Park area. They've gone through an extensive renovations including a private party room. Gamekeepers features traditional American cuisine with a Southern touch that is awesome. The food is way above average bar food and they have excellent weekly specials. This place is ANYTHING BUT a fun time. – No joke! Stay the hell away from this place! Two staff members thought they heard some racial slur and that it was me who said it. They met me down in the bathroom while I was using the trough and blocked the exit while threatening me. I didn't know what to think of it, but they were dead serious about it. Bottom line, gtfo. Ravens is right down the block and the staff is much more friendly.
Great Place to Spend New Years – Went there for New Years, place was awesome. Great time with friends, service was great, drinks were cheap, and crowd was on fire. Best place I've been to in a while.
GIVE ME A KISS BIG BOY!!!! – This place holds many memories for me and my NY girls!!! Gamekeepers has it - the SPORTS, the GUYS and a great late night. The bartenders are not so bad either - especially when they dance on the bar. Love those S&L videos they play during half time - and the food is excellent. The waitresses sometimes are little snooooooty - but what the hell - it's a late night bar and that must be there "schtick!" BEAR DOWN AT GAMEKEEPERS!!!!!!! – I've spent the last three weeks at this place watching the games. We have enjoyed our servers and the excellent food. The wings are by far the best I've ever had and the service is great (but when it gets busy, they have a problem fighting through the crowd). I know why this place has been around for over 20 years - they are doing all the right things. We'll see them again during the SUPERBOWL to root on our beloved BEARS. AWESOME FOOD and EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!!!! – jUST WANTED TO DROP A NOTE TO THE FOLKS AT GAMEKEEPERS - we love you!!!!! Not sure what that other user was talking about - my girlfriends and I have been going to Gamekeepers for the last few years for IOWA games and LATE NIGHT...we love the place. AVOID!!! Horrible place! – It was nice of Gamekeepers to get all there employees to get on this site and write about how great it is. This place is has overly agressive security. Once, I saw the bouncers get the snot out of some guy that wasn't even fighting back. When it was over they went inside and asked who was next. The manager looked like he was encouraging them.
