Went to Eau Claire to get burgers and the place we wanted to go to was closed. Someone reccomended Galloway Grille. The burgers were dry to the point of no flavor. Then the waiter broght a can of soda with the tab torn off and the sharp end facing the mouth. It was not busy by any means. ... no excuse! I would not reccomend this place!
Good food, but extremely poor service. A group of 4 went there for dinner Saturday evening before a show at the EC Regional Arts Center. Arrived at 6pm and didn't get our food until 7:15pm, giving us 15 minutes to eat and get to the theater. Hostess was rude, waitress was pleasant. Sadly this wasn't an isolated incident as we've had similar experiences each time we've visited. This restaurant never seems to have enough staff on duty. Terrible service at the bar. We are here on a Saturday night and the bartender has not been behind the bar for at least half an hour. Now she put up the chairs on the tables. There are 12 of us here. Apparently she wants to go home...or out. I won't be back. Pathetic. And by the way it was only 10 pm when we had to leave. At least the server for our food was fantastic.
After standing for a few minutes next to 2 servers that would not make any kind of eye contact with us we chose to leave. A simple "Hi, someone will be right with you!" goes a long way! Service has always been an issue at the Galloway!
Confused as to how it could take twenty minutes, or more, to get noticed... My wife and I were looking forward to a dinner for two. Hope the movie isn't a disappointment, too. ...8/5/14.. update

The food has gone down hill lately. They are cutting corners.
Let's start with nostalgia and staff. Fabulous! On to top notch service and warm fuzzy feelings. Good vibrations! Options, portions and palate. Yes, yes and yes! Thank you so much!
