Best fried chicken in St Louis metro.
Heard about Gallagher's Restaurant. Drove over 100 miles to have lunch there on 6/3/18. Food was excellent however can't say much for our server. There were 4 of us with 2 coupons (buy 1 get 1 free). We were told that we could not set at the same table. One coupon per table. Ok, restaurant policy. However that is no excuse for the louzy service and disrespectful server. My suggestion is try it for yourself but as for the 4 of us we will NOT be going back there.
My go to place to meet friends for eats and drinks. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, knowledge bartenders and delicious food!

The male bartender this afternoon was horrible! Acted like he was bothered to wait on us. I’ll spend my money elsewhere!
The other chicken establishments in the Lou pale in comparison to Gallagher’s Family Style Sunday Dinner!
Our favorite restaurant on the east side, always exceptionally good food, great service and relaxing atmosphere!
We were skeptical walking in on a Sunday and the girl said all they were serving was the Fried Chicken. The table next to us interrupted and said "it's really really good". So we decided to stay. Wow! Is all I can say! All you can eat Fried Chicken served family style! We were certainly surprised how good everything was...Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn cakes, biscuits and chicken gravy...and last but not least...the butterscotch almond cake for dessert. It was all delicious!!! We will be back with the kids... read more
