I got treated to a dinner at Gallagers and it was excellent! The staff were kind and cracking jokes that were not inappropriate or offensive so it wasn't an awkward moment between "how is everything" and "can I get you a refill." Great atmosphere. The food was 10/10, I got the sirloin and I've never tasted a steak so great, and the appetizers were well above par. 👍👍

I have been there couple of times. I am from Metairie and frequent overseas traveler. I have eaten in the best restaurants in NOLA but being older now I am becoming more demanding . Yesterday experience for my birthday not different from previous ones. Turtle soup with a hint of sherry was spectacular, seafood mirliton casserole out of this world, soft shell crab and fresh fish almondine were fantastic along with my Malbec. Excellent food and excellent service. My first time there but will definitely go back!!
Had our 60th Anniversary Dinner there in January with our children and grandchildren except for one.Food was great and the people were wonderful. Thank You for making it special!!
