Chef Ivo keeps the shelves stocked with old-fashioned butters, jams, jellies, mustards, BBQ sauces and rubs, dressings, oils and vinegars, and a variety of pickled items too. Our original locations still carries over 2,000 hot sauces. We make custom gift boxes while you wait for holidays, weddings and other special occasstions. No order is too small or too large for our staff.

Just got some Sweet Bourbon Glaze and had it on grilled pork chops tonight!!!! Mmmmmmmm...... We've been in love with the Vidalia Onion Steak Sauce for years but might have a new love. Also love the jams and fruit butters, this is a stop we always make in Galena!!
The associate working the store that day was very rude. My wife went to try a dip and accidently knocked a jar that was double stacked onto the floor and it broke and splashed all over foot and the glass cut her ankle ( a very small cut but still a cut ) he then said to leave it he would clean it up after he finished with the other customers but not to forget to stop by before we leave to pay it when we got up there i thought he was joking but we went to pay for our sauces and he charged us twice and then said sorry to be an... read more
I got to say, only the Lord himself gets five stars LOL I have been marketing they're sweet bourbon glaze to my clients for over a decade, Chris & Company are gracious, knowledgeable and very friendly, you can't go in there hungry or you will spend hundreds as I often do, make it a point to spend some time and expand your horizons your only limitation is your imagination and where else are you able to try everything before you buy? A must visit business on Main St. in Galena. One can sample many of the original recipe offerings at a gratis buffet bar. The hot sauce variety is amazing. Check it out!
This is my favorite shop in Galena. Having lived in Galena, I was there when Chef Ivo opened the Galena Canning Company and truly believe it was the best addition to Main Street shopping. And the fact that you can sample everything before you make a purchase adds to the fun—but then you want to buy everything...all of his products are wonderful! I’ve known Ivo since he arrived in Galena...he’s good people and I’m proud to call him my friend and wish him continued success.
