Hubby and I visited GSH yesterday after finding a recommendation for it at the cabin we were staying at in Fancy Gap. It was well worth the 30 min ride on the parkway! Don't miss their award winning ribs!!! Seriously!!! And the BBQ Baked Beans are the best I've ever tasted.
My favorite place in the world to eat! !! Everything you order is so good. And the staff is always excellent. I would give you 10 stars if that was possible .
Food was really tasty, but it was the people that made the experience wonderful. Felt like home folk by the time we left.

We are from Concord NC visiting Galax Va with our church group Gospel Light Baptist church in Concord NC . Our first time eating at the Smokehouse and was told by the owner that all of their food was homemade and let me tell all of you that this place is delicious Smoked Ribs smoked burgers and pulled pork and yummy sauces for the barbeque.
