Well,I will say My food was really good!! but that was after eventually received it after everyone else in our party had almost finished eating theirs! Our food was just sitting there waiting for someone to bring it to the table! we had to ask someone where our food was because the waitress was not around, mine was still warm,my husbands was not but there was no way we were going to ask for it to be warmed. The Galax Smokehouse just catered my wedding. Not only were they easy and helpful in the coordination preceding the event, they were super wonderful the day of! They showed up and knew exactly what to do. As the bride, they made my day totally stress free. AND on top of all that, their food is absolutely delicious. I would recommend to literally anyone who has the opportunity to check them out!
Dropped in for an early supper and was VERY happy I did! Had the brisket and corn nuggets....YUMMMMMM. Brisket was tender and the sweet sauce was just right (they have about 8 different kinds to appeal to everyone!) The corn nuggets were hot and fresh. I would definitely plant to return here again!
Food and atmosphere was great. We will return on our next trip to town.
My husband and I have never been to downtown Galax!! We went today, and even though it was raining we had such a good time!!! We ate here at the Smokehouse and it was DELICIOUS!!!! Awesome service, and awesome food!! Everyone was friendly!!! Will definately go back!!!
