Galax Smokehouse is yummy. Awesome BBQ, great downtown location, and friendly service. Whenenver you go, and you will, try the pulled pork, the house sauce, and don't forget the world class banana pudding!
Fantastic Place - One of the best for BBQ Service is fast and efficient. Food quality is fantastic. Their best is the pulled pork or the beef brisket. This is not fast food BBQ, but some of the best slow-smoked old-style Memphis BBQ around. The food was not good at all and the sauces were gross, I would not recommend this place
I picked up three family packs for my place of employment today. the team that won the meal loved it. the pork, slaw and sauce was a huge success. there was some confusion since I used an online menu so make sure you go to their actual website, but definitely wonderful food.
Love the smoked mash potatoes!
We ordered the family meal. The bbq was delicious and I love that you can pick your own sauce. The baked beans were just right with the amount of sweet and pepper added. Our fried taters were out of this world they were much better than I personally expected. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the slaw. I do know it is a personal preference but to me it was just cabbage and a little vinegar sugar water. I would definitely recommend a stop in to eat.
