I’ve gone to Gainesville Eye Care every year for diabetes exam for the last five or six years but I won’t be going back. The last two exams I got they said they wouldn’t do a PD measurement (very simple procedure added on to the normal procedures ). They said I could get the measurement only if I was fitted in and bought their glasses. The reason was without this measurement it would make it more difficult to order glasses on line. I bought a very good pair anyway from Warby Parker saving me approximately $300.

Brought my 8 year old daughter for her 1st time. They were very thorough and explained everything to her. She got her glasses right then with a minimal wait. I will be scheduling an appt for myself.
