My husband has been using Tracey for at least 20 years, including handling small business he had on the side. He's been doing our taxes since marrying 17 yrs ago. HE'S GREAT! Super smart, efficient, organized, attentive, and always handles our questions and docs quickly. Tracey served as an on-air and radio tax expert for years. He services many law enforcement families in addition to high-end clients.

The clerk In the front of the office is unorganized which is a reflection of the staff. We believed we were seeing a CPA and come to find out the guy is an ‘EA’? unable to pass the CPA state test? did not know what he was talking about in business either. This guy is the president of the company? Clearly gave himself that title as he would have never made his way to “the top” should he had to earn through promotions. What a joke. Go somewhere with real experience and professionalism.

Gaines and Welsh has to be the worst tax service in all of San Diego county if not the entire state. This is by a far the worst ‘professional’ service I have ever received. The owner is not even a CPA. They claim to have extensive history helping thousands of clients when the office is a library and they all seemed desperate for work. The owner is very egotistical and his smug attitude made us seek counseling elsewhere.
