Outside of historic classy setting, just overpriced average food & service in my opinion
Vickie Ratcliff is correct in her review. What happened to the good management and excellent employees Gaido's previously had? The place is going to the dogs. It used to be a Galveston Legend, the food used to be superb, not anymore.

The best restaurant in Galveston! I have been going since I was 5 years old. Was my parents favorite! Pricey but oh so good!$$$

The food was no where near as good as it used to be. It tasted like any other fast food. The portions where small & our waiter forget to put in our appetizer. Will not be back anytime soon

Oysters on the half shell! Yum!! Stuffed Shrimp! Amazing wine list! Wait staff are so professional and helpful. Great view! We’ll be back! Exquisite experience. !
