I have been taking our 4 dogs to Gahanna animal hospital for over 10 years. I love Dr. Harkins, she gets down on the floor to talk to them. She always checks everything and is willing to work with me to make the best decisions for our dogs to make them well and not break the bank. All the vets there are wonderful. The front desk doesn't make you stand there, they are always making sure you are being helped. They have hours to meet everyone's needs.
Took my 2 cats there for itchy ears. Everyone was incredibly friendly even on the phone when I was scheduling the appointment. Turns out what I was previously told was just allergies was ear mites! This vet actually looked in my boys' ears, swabbed them and checked for bacteria (which there was an infection) and also cleaned it all out! So happy they had an appointment so soon and were very helpful and nice! Definitely found my new vet in Columbus!
Run from this place as fast as you can. My dog was misdiagnosed and terribly suffered there for 8 hours. I received a call saying "he doesn't look good" and needs to be taken somewhere else. My dog walked in that morning but was in shock and near death when I picked him up. Another vet was not able to save my dog because "time was of the essence. Their service is above and beyond and all the vets at GAH are incredibly knowledgeable in their field. All the Veterinarian Technicians have the kindest hearts and also are very knowledgeable. They all made me feel comfortable with tough decisions and never once made me feel like my decisions were the wrong ones. The ladies at the front desk are efficient at what they do and answer the phone as though they have a smile on their face. I've been very happy with the people and service. I have always felt like the people who work there genuinely care about my dog's well being and are very understanding of my attachment to my dog. So I'm very happy to rate them 5 stars.
Gahanna Animal Hospital is the best! Dr. Worman is the best vet! He truly cares about the animals he treats! My husband and I have been to other vets and have never been treated with the care and compassion that Gahanna Animal Hospital offers. They are the best and we only trust them with the treatment of our family members !
