They act very friendly but lie to your face. My wife and I were looking for a car on Labor day 09/05/2016. When they got our info I asked if they were going to run a credit report. They said no. I got an alert the next day saying there was a HARD HIT on my credit score... And the name Gage Auto Sales inc. Showed up as instigator. We bought a car from Gauge in October 2013. When we inquired about keys they said there was only one but 'you will have to go and get another cut'. The key we received is a valet key and Toyota cannot program the chip in the key from a valet key. The solution if we want a second key is to replace the computer for about $2,000. Gauge also told us to just go to Toyota to get the little knob missing, it will probably be only about $5. This little knob is only replaceable with the mechanism for $125. I bought a Chevy Express van from Gage just over a month ago. I am very pleased with the car, and with the price that I paid. I'd also give a tentative thumbs up to the overall sales process. The initial sales rep that I worked with (JR) was very nice. The "closer", whose name I don't even remember, was less friendly and accommodating, but still not as bad as I have dealt with elsewhere. We have now made two purchases at Gage Auto Sales. We bought my husband's 2006 Silverado extended cab truck a year ago last August. The salesman, Trey, was so wonderful. Huge inventory, great service!! – Went there with a buddy that wanted me to check out a Truck he was interested in. Not only did he get one, but I ended up with one also. We looked online at this companies web site, did some home work, was surprised to find a link to get a free car fax on any vehcile they offered, what a time saver!! Great place to shop, better place to buy!! – Just purchased myself a Mustang GT today from Gage Auto Sales, and I love it!! I saw the add on the web and called the dealership to inquire about the car, the salesman I spoke to Chuck was very helpful. Worth checking out – I am very impressed. I had been searching private party sales, but my wife had found a Dodge Caravan listed on craigslist, located at Gage Auto. Because of the 'stereotype' of independent car lots I was thinking, "oh great, used car sales people....". Gage Auto, and everyone (yes everyone) I dealt with there was great to work with.
