RecommendedDr. Shipman cares for wildlife in a donation of his time and resources. Working with our local wildlife rescue workers in our community. Dennis at Topeka Zoo capture Quackiana, white female duck in Gage Park. Took her to Gage Animal Hospital where she received some rest, full body X-rays, and a health check. Seems she was rolled, by a car or something, hard enough to strip her of the feathers from their quills on her wings and road rash on her neck. I have taken my dogs to Gage Animal Hospital for years but this week I had a pet emergency. They got my Zoey in and saved her life. I will always be grateful to Dr Blackwell and the staff for getting Zoey back to us.
Love this place!! Dr. Shipman and his staff are so very friendly, empathetic and professional. Dr. Shipman took the time to explain my little poodles condition, how to fix it and was so caring when I was scared. He provided wonderful care and my baby is doing so much better. After having to say goodbye to our beloved cat, London, due to renal failure, Gage Animal Hospital surprised us by sending us a Peace Lilly.
