In 1934, Denver's most notorious family, the Smalldones opened up an eatery in the North Side to become the heart of both Italian cuisine and an illicit operation. While drawing the neighborhood's attention to their famous pasta, they also drew the attention from police as Denver's only mafia operated in the basement. A wonderful historical site. The food was absolutely amazing!
Valentine's dinner was wonderful, they offered champagne on the house and gave us chocolate covered strawberries and a rose. Great service, romantic atmosphere, and delicious food. We'll be coming back!
Met the girls for Bottomless mimosas with 3 or 4 different flavors and the brunch menu is great we all ordered different things and all of us were very pleased with our dish
We had to wait for our table even though we made reservations, we were directed to the bar while we waited. It too was full but we received prompt service. My mom ordered a red sangria and I had the lucky Luciano, mom loved her sangria so much she had 4 of them (she requested the same female bartender make all of them)! Our table was ready within 15 minutes Bri waited on us and was good with food recommendations! Great visit we left happy and full!
Good food at reasonable price one of the few restaurants I've been to I didn't leave hungry. It's hard to accomplish since I'm almost 400 pounds
Back to one of my favorite Italian restaurants to share excellent food and old school atmosphere with friends.
Tamara was so attentive, and knowledgeable on the history, The food was super delishes and presenation was a piece of art. The atmosphere was like if the walls could talk very lively place even while its quiet great energy and company my bff had an amazing birthday Thank you Gaetano's for your service and hospitality will definitely be going back!!!!!
