Joey is the absolute best! – I met Joey at the Hospital when my son was not feeling. He prayed for the both of us and asked "who does your hair?" I replied no one yet as I have just moved to Texas. To make a long story short, Joey did my hair a couple of weeks later with extensions and I have been totally and completely satisfied with is work. A professional space for Austin's diverse hair care needs – Easily found off of Burnet and Hwy 183, Gabrielle's salon is what I've been waiting for in Austin for 18 years. I've been seeing Lylanda at Gabrielle's for over two years and my time in her salon is the best 'me time' part of my week. I can get in and out in an unbelievable amount of time, am treated to a great conversation, all while having my hair taken well care of. Marlin's THE BEST – I started going to Gabrielles in 2010 and first had Marlin do my hair in November 2010. I hadn't had really good hair care in some years and my hair was quite damaged. With Marlin's knowledge of hair and products, my hair is now the longest its been in years. She is caring, thorough and always accommodating with appointments. I'm in a wedding in September and wish I could bring her with me to do my hair because I dont trust any other hands than hers!!

Austin's Best Salon & Spa – I've tried both salon and spa services at Gabrielle's and have thoroughly enjoyed both. The staff goes to great lengths to ensure that you have the best experience possible, especially Lylanda. She has been taking care of my hair since I moved to Austin. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient (which is a plus when you have natural hair and are picky). I have yet to find a place in Austin that has been able to top the service I have received at Gabrielle's. I am glad I have found my salon home.

Marlin is an artist at work! – Marlin is truly about healthy hair care. The service she provides is top notch. I have been so impressed with her work. She makes you feel like an artist working on a masterpiece each time you sit in her chair. She is also very particular about the line of products she uses. My hair looks and feels great!

I found the right one Baby! Lylanda! – Lylanda's a top notch stylist! I've been seeing her every two weeks for over a year. Even when my hair is almost two weeks old, I still get compliments! I like that she’s in a private room because we get to have some pretty juicy topics :-) No matter what the rest of my week is like, I know that on Wednesdays I'll have a little more pep in my step after leaving Gabrielle's!

best blow out in austin – Marlyn is great. She really knows how to do a great blow out. My hair is naturally curly and get a lot of compliments on how shine and straight my hair looks. She also uses the best produts.

BRINGING SEXY BACK! – I wore a wig for almost two years because of a chemical mishap that caused most of my hair to fall out. During that time, I had a hard time feeling like the diva that I once saw every time I looked in the mirror. I met Lylanda at an event where both she and I were honorees as community leaders. The Best Dominican Hair Stylist in Austin. – Being from NY, it was surprising that my experience at Gabrielle's Salon & Day Spa was as if I was back home. Marlin does my hair and she is great at what she does (especially since I do not have a relaxer) She knows how to give your hair the body and volume that hair deserves. Lately, I've started wearing my hair in a rod set. Applying the rod set alone can take about 20-40 mins but she is very patient and does a perfect job at making sure the rods are neat and tight.
