I had surgery from Romeo Lainez (highly recommend!) and Dr. Salinas was the surgeon on call when my wife called in about pain and dehydration. Despite telling him that I was already taking esomeprazole, his solution to pain and dehydration was to prescribe omeprazole, which helped with neither (it isn't meant to, it's for acid), is available otc, and is basically a worse version of esomeprazole anyway.
