Dr. Rodriguez is a fine man and an excellent doctor. He works well with other doctors who had a part in my health situations, coordinated care and has a no nonsense but friendly and caring approach. He does his reading, he listens well and spends the time I need to get answers. He is positive and fact based in his analysis of your care needs. I went through two other urologists that had none of these characteristics with an important health issue, and I am very glad I found Dr. Rodriguez...
Best doc I've ever been to-and I've had cancer. He made the experience of surgery the best I've ever had. When I heard the star wars ring tone on his phone my surgery became a reenactment of the movie. This was my story: he was Luke Skywalker there to blast the Death Star (kidney stone) out of they sky and as my hospital bed was raising up for surgery he played the Darth Vader Imperial March song for me. I feel fantastic after 4 months of other doctors misdiagnosis I got lucky to find him.
Had an initial appointment with Dr. Rodriguez today, and I wanted to commend his staff and the doctor on their efficiency and friendliness, and a very comfortable environment in every way. I was completely at ease with Dr. Rodriguez and he was very attentive to my needs in every way. His nurse, Ebony, was very upbeat and helpful. Everything was explained to perfection! I would recommend this doctor and office in a heartbeat!!!
I will NEVER set foot in Dr. Rodriguez's office because of his incompetent and uncaring staff. I've been in severe pain for 1 week and made more than 10 phone calls trying to schedule an appointment. It has been 8 days since my PCP submitted the referral forms & lab work and I haven't even had the courtesy of a single return phone call. All i ever get is the answering service or someone promising they will call me back to sched an appt. Even the Branch Mgr is non-responsive! NOT ACCEPTABLE!
If ever there was a doctor who gave his all for his patients, Dr. Gabriel Rodriguez is it. His background, experience and skill has made him one of the best in the Houston/Galveston area. He listens to his patients, takes time to explain treatment plans and is respectful of patient's care givers. Very caring and compassionate. I have recommended him to many people in the past 2 years.
My husband was the patient, not I, but I had to write and let you know how impressed I was with Dr. Rodriguez bedside manner and charm. The pre-op, surgery and after care was excellent. Dr. Rodriguez is the best! great attitude, personality and down to earth. Explains medical information in a manner that can be easily understood. Highly recommend him.
