Back in April of this year, I noticed several damaged and missing shingles from my roof that was replaced less than 3 years ago. I reached out to Ron right away leaving a couple polite messages before he finally called 2 weeks later. He said he would be out that weekend to take a look and see what was needed to make the repair. Well ...... no call, no show. Doesn't pay his employees general ignorant attitude
My brother in law reccommended Ron's services to me when I told him I was replacing the shingles on my roof. He had done theirs and was very proud of the job Ron did. Ron was very professional when he came over and gave me a very reasonable quote. He's had forty years experience in the business and knew exactly what was required (ie: underlayment, flashing etc.). We asked Gables Roofing Ltd to repair our slate roof which had a minor leak. Instead of focusing on the area where the leak was, the crew replaced slates according to their visual inspection, all over the roof. After their work was done, the roof leaked more. We contacted the company as they guaranteed their work, however, they gave no response for a few weeks. Once Ron came back to look at the roof, he claimed that none of the slate tiles they replaced had shifted or fallen off and there was no issue with their workmanship.... read more
Very pleasant men to work with BUT slate roof leaking (in the area they did most work) after they finished doing “maintenance” work. Have not heard back from them for 5 months since reporting roof leaking for the first time in 35 years of ownership except to say “will come by to inspect the situation when the weather permits”. Roof has leaked 3 times in the exact same place now with no reply since first leak October 2021.
